Yenera Nohansen was the daughter of Sela Nohansen and an unknown lover, granddaughter of Hylia Nohansen, and eventual wife of Berrymark Harkinian I.

Yenera was born to Sela Nohansen and an unknown lover under mysterious circumstances. Sela herself, the secret child of Hylia, died shortly after giving birth. Yenera was taken under the custody of her great granduncle, King Baolin Nohansen I. Seeking to secure the legacy of House Nohansen through the divine bloodline Yenera had inherited from her grandmother, Baolin married her off to his own grandson, Berrymark Harkinian I, with whom she had four children, Seldia, Srolam, Yenna, and Baolin. When her husband was overthrown by Bal Onkled, she and her children escaped to the protection of House Harkinian.
