Snowpeak is the abandoned former seat of House Gustaf in the Tabantha Mountains, on the slopes of Mount Hebra, approximately 20 miles northwest of Vigjaro. It serves as a 2 - player Skirmish Map in Hyrule Conquest.

History

Snowpeak traces its origins to the Tribes of Akkala as they emigrated from Arcadia. Like other Akkalan settlements, it began as a sheltered community, a central noble manor or castle home to one of the larger Houses, surrounded by rural villages governed by their bannermen. Snowpeak was constructed as the ancestral estate and the seat of power of House Gustaf, and completed in 3121 BG, marking the official recognition of House Gustaf as one of the five Great Houses of Akkala. in 2991 BG, under the reign of King Rhoaban Gustaf I the Gustaf seat of power was moved from Snowpeak to the newly constructed Hyrule Castle at Gundrumether. After Rhoaban's assassination later thesame year, and the sparking of the Akkalan Civil War, the surviving members of House Gustaf and their retainers waged war against Houses Nohansen, Daltus, Harkinian, and Rhoam, but by 2987 BG they had been wiped out or had fled to west to Calatia, leaving Peak Province abandoned. Over the centuries the ruined Manor would be used as a lair by various monsters and bandit groups.
