King Dodongo is the leader of the Dodongos on Death Mountain.
Physical Characteristics
King Dodongo is the largest Dodongo on record, twice as long and at least four times as massive as his smaller kin. He also sports glowing teal eyes and crystals on his back not seen in any other Dodongo.
History
Gerudo Wars
In 100 AG, Darunia, the King of the Gorons, the arch-enemies of the Dodongos, facing the threat of a Zora invasion of Death Mountain, approaches King Dodongo and proposes an alliance against the Zora. After a brief conflict Darunia manages to convince the Dodongos of the Zora threat, and the two races set up a defensive network along the mountain canyons.
In 101 AG, the Zora King Farkos gives the order to march into Goron territory, and his forces clash with Darunia's and King Dodongo's. King Dodongo perishes against the Zora, though the Gorons and the Dodongos ultimately emerge victorious as Darunia kills King Farkos and forces the Zora to retreat.
